Chuck Sir, and all faithful readers: By now it is pretty much a known given that if there is a Heritage fight to be had out there, somewhere you can find me puttin my 2 cents worth in. Its been that way for over 30 years, I don't see it changin anytime soon. Over the past 3 years, I have used my personal address list of near 250 people, when something develops requiring mass numbers of emails, letters, phone calls, or personal demonstration. Now, what some readin this are not aware, that a huge portion of that list are Indian brothers and sistas of mine from various Indian Nations, all over this great country, into Canada, and reachin to the Far South in Guatemala. These people never refuse my request for help.....Those that really know Indians, and I MEAN REALLY KNOW US..are aware of how seriously we take our Heritage, and how we are not afraid to fight for it. I want to make a point here with some numbers. As an example, if you have read my name in 50 Southern Heritage issues, then you should be aware that standing right there with me has been a large number of Indians. No, you haven't seen their names, well, maybe if you are a crooked politician, then you've read their letters and see their names, but likely as not, ya'll aren't even aware of the tremendous effort that has been put forth in the defense of Southern Heritage, by my red brothers and sistas. I wish to try and correct that injustice at this time. Whether it was last year in OK when the pee cee feces crowd tried to do away with the Cherokee Braves Flag, or one of the many Confederate T shirt , school fights all over the South, there has been Indians fightin along side their white Southern brothers and sistas. Suprised?????? Well, ya shouldnt be..think back to the War of Northern Arrogance 1861-65........how about the name of General Stand Waite and those who he commanded in the Cherokee Braves, how about the lesser known Red/Rebs, Big Chief, Black Dog, and Grah-more bands of my people the OSAGE, who fought for the Confederacy. That war split the Indian side of my lineage just as it did the white side of my lineage.The Federal forces ravaged the South, and inflicted Reconstruction upon my Southern ancestors. Well to the West, those same Federal forces waged a genocidal war on my Indian ancestors. The results of which were, those they didn't kill, they took away their religion, ceremonies and symbols, their lands, and even their children were shipped off like cattle to be taught to forget the old ways...........It didn't work any better than Reconstruction in the South, it just caused more problems for the American Indian people economically, socially, JUST LIKE IT DID IN THE SOUTH!!! Get the intent of this postin ? We are talkin about like peoples.......Yes, different in skin color......SO WHAT.....it didnt bother our Confederate ancestors, nor did it bother my red ancestors either. Both groups heritage remain under attack today, both groups have had history written by the victors in yankee blue ink, and the symbols, traditions, religion and beliefs have either been stolen, attempted stolen, or lied about, and portrayed in a less than favorable light. I have just written a new song entiled "My People Wore Feathers and Gray". It is a tribute to all of my ancestors who fought the Invaders in Blue. It is also a tribute to my Brothers and Sistas of both Causes who I stand shoulder to shoulder with today, JUST LIKE OUR ANCESTORS DID! Remember it Was Ape Lincoln, who is credited with the quote "The only good Indian is a dead Indian", and it was the same U.S. Grant, and Sherman who hadnt hadn't their fill of war and butchery after four years in the South, and continued their assault on my people to the West, raping, pillaging ,plundering, and murdering, men ,women ,and babies......Sound familar? Now there are on any given day, as many heritage fights to be found in the Red world as the Southern Cause. I know this for a fact, cause I'm fightin both fights. At this time, I would like to ask my Southern brothers and sistas to help in a heritage fight in Florida. I will include a link, where ya'll can read it for yourself, and not just take my word for. You will find it involves the same enemy, using the same techniques. You will find the cramming of lies and crap down the throats of unwillin victims , with the end goal being a revision of true history, with disregard of the rights and feelings of the injured parties to appease some self centered and gluttin agendas of a few. To all the keyboard soldiers on this list, PLEASE take a moment and voice an opinion on the side of my Red brothers and sistas.They have done it countless times for ya'll whether you were aware of it or not at that time, you are aware of it now. You have my word as a gentleman and as a Border Ruffian Partisian.
